make sure you key the plastic, get rid of all the old back to black polish etc, and use plastic primer, it shouldnt peel if done properly

The rails are metal mate not plastic and i was told by the bodyshop they had to use some 'special' primer before painting else it peels off as monkey magic has found.

key the plastic means basically sand it so you get a rough surface rather than smooth to give the paint some thing to stick to or to KEY to, you can get away with just scotch brighting them sometimes which is a rough kind of pad,
Use 800 grit or something maybe even finer, the silicone in polishes etc makes paint peel so if ya sand the surface and make sure its clean ya laughing

the corsa c ones are plastic, but the corsa b ones are metal with some strange thickly layered zinc sorta paint on em!
Dont know if the bodyshop took that paint off first of just painted onto it tho!

use an etch prima it contains acid and bites into the metal to provide a good key for the new paint.
