Well as your parents are experienced drivers, and cos theyre a named driver they will be driving the car for a small proportion, meaning ur be driving less, meaning less risk of an accidant so ur premuim goes down.
i added my mum on mine.

im with churchil, i was paying £500 on a 1.2 which was good.
u gotta be over 21 or have pass plus to be with churchill.

at least you have a decent selection to choose from over there...most wont quote for over here and its a real shitter.

i am currently paying £1200 fc with dad as policyholder, mum and me as named drivers and i am 19 with almost 2 years driving and my dad or mum has never had an accident in their near 40 years of driving...oh yes its a 1.2 8v possibly the slowest car in the world

If you are having no luck with specialised insurers at 17, you're probably best off goin with a more mainstream company, yeah you wont be allowed to mod but run with that for a year, then when u r 18 and have a yr ncb the fun will begin!
