After hearing about boards being shut down by solicitors acting for Newcastle football club I decided to play it safe and ask that threads related to the club were not posted. This was just basically to cover our backs and make sure that we were being cautious and on examination could be seen to be acting in the interests in the club. This potentially may have lead to some censorship but we're all adults and I'd hope that as a community we could have taken this on board without too much confrontation or pedantry.

There's now this notion that I ban on sight of anything vaguely interesting which is not the case at all. Perhaps there's some humour in that as well.
I am tightening up of course as I'm not alone in being worried that we have to do something before the site looses direction completely and becomes to relieve boredom and nothing else.

cant post anything about newcastle, as they have been linked to the alledged rape of that lass.
ian put a post up about no posting about newcastle players, so i posted about boody (manager) maybe quiting - and i very nearly got banned for not doing as he said
to him the players raping someone and the manager quiting is the same thing
