my sub seems to be drowning out everything so i dont really hear much music just boom boom boom. would it make a difference if i boxed my 6x9's cos the sub could be distorting them???

The sub is distorting them. You could relocate them or box them in as you say. But the ideal solution is more loudness upfront.

ye im getting comps and amp for them but jus looking at cheap soloution for just now.

how hard is it to fire 6x9's into where the standard speakers are???

LOL i wouldnt go there tbh!!!! Wayyy to small a space IMO
