what amp should i get for my system. i have 2 6x9" 140 watts and 2 5 inch components 40 watts. please help me i have up to 600 quid to spend on a good quality amplifier. what one should i get ?

And you wont want to be blowing £600 on an amp, for £600 you could get a good amp that you need for the above, and then a sub and amp on top.

what amp could i get to power that system and how much would it cost and also what wattage would it need to be ?

Well the basic rule for powering speakers from an amp is to match the power of the speakers with the amp, or to exceed that power and then turn the gain down on the amp.

Hace a look around. What head unit have you got?? If you have a decent head unit with good output you could easily run your 6x9s and components off of it, if you must I would say power the 6x9s with an amp and leave the components on the head unit because the 6x9's need more power.

Then spend what you have left on a good sub/amp/box setup.

i got a kenwood 4x30w headunit. would that be enough to run the components or would they need to be powered by the amp along with the 6x9s ?
