My engines only gone and died on me diagnosis was a knackered crankshaft and oil pump and it's ceased i need an engine real bad as i'm gonna be working thru in glenrothes at the start of november so i need my car working!
anyone got a 1.4 8v lying around i could just drop into my car or a 1.4 16v i could put in with a ecu and loom??? Got £150 to spend could throw in a bit for delivery (needs to be kindalocal no further than glasgow) as i cant pickup due to my cars slight problem and my girlfriend works alot of backshifts right now cheers

I've text Ryan for u Skippy but I dunno what condition his 1.4 16v engine is in, or wether it has ECU and loom etc.

"It's in my garage. Complete with loom and gear box everything is there. Think it needs the bottom end looked at."

feck thats whats wrong with my 1.4 8v how much does he reckon for repair? and how much does he want for it?? hopewfully it's free for uplift

it's alright dav thanks for that mate if u see him ortxt him can you get some details off him? just wanna know whats wrong how much it will cost to repair and how much he wants for it all i can get big end shells no probz, but gettin a crankshaft reground can be expensive, i need to get the car back on the road within the next week i've gotta get to glenrothes for my new job at my g/fs dads shop!
