i currently dont have any backbox on my car, i need to get this sorted, not got alot of cash, if i get a standerd back box and cut out the silencer in the middle of the car, will it roar or will it sound wank, i have drilled my air box too.

well i need my car sorting, so i'll get standerd back box put on, and middle section taken out (will the pass its MOT?) and hopefully it will roar a bit, and then get a cherry bomb and fit it myself????

I suggested a cherry bomb as they are cheap, they make a "roar" sound, as thats what he wants. He hasnt got a massive budget, and at £25, its better than drilling a hole in the standard backbox and possibly failing an MOT

if u got a a cat on it, it shud still pass, if this makes areally load roar n the bab take a disliking to it n find u without a centre section they may have a little fit.

if you do anything to the standard backbox, it'll just sound like you're driving around in an old banger, as there wont be a shiny backbox

why should i not get a cherry bomb?? and some people say take the centre section out, some dont, will it stillroar with the centre section in it?

1. a 1.0 will not roar
2. do not get a cherry bomb either
3. get a proper backbox, keep an eye out for 2nd hand ones on the classifieds
