Hey Lads, Just Needing Abit Of Help.....
What Are The Differences, Engine or Car In General, Between The 1.4 16v Sport and the 1.4 16v SRI?
Ive Been Looking Everywhere And Can't Find Out. Thought You Guys Would Know. Thanx

to my knolledge 1.4 SPORT is an ecotech engineand only made >97 with all black interior. With facelift bumpers/wheels

As the old one has non ecotech engine and a multi coloured interior with grey bits and old bumpers.

That was the lamest description ever sorry

and mainly wrong.

Both had ecotec engines (early sris were only 8v but your probably aware)

The sport had body coloured bumpers unlike the sri.

Pre facelift (97) sport has identical interior to sri, post 97 facelift sport had plain black door card and slightly different spotted seats.

Sport had electir windows and mirrors and sunroof as std unlike the sri which were optional extras.

PAS and ABS were optional on both pre 97 sports and sris as was aircon hth

i have a 95 M corsa Sri and it IS and ecotech 16v..... although jambo your mate may have a late registered SRI with an old 8v engine init.

evenything ainsley said is correct...

yep, if hes got an 8v SRi then its non ecotec, but if hes got a 16v SRi then its an ecotec
