Just ran an insurance quote for an MR2 Turbo, tis only £1,700 fully comp. Was lookin to get a 200sx touring but the MR2 turbo is faster and cheaper to insure. Driven a n/a MR2 and that was fast as fook, anyone driven a turbo; is it really that much better?

Yep they do, Zeneth (or something like that) was 2.2K insurance on the 200sx (Uk car). You can buy the policy online so the price should be correct!

Alan, thats on yoru own name... its 1.7k in his mum, which pissed me off since people like me and you pay the full whack and other people go named which is technically fraud since they cant legally own the car or do the majority of the mileage (there is no way to proove this)

I'd be interested in converting an MR2 into a fake ferrari when i'm a bit older, could be a labour of love. They also worth quite a bit when complete
