Ive got a 150k or 300K NTL Broadband £15 a month. And it will only do about 18Kb's a sec. Shouldnt this be a bit faster??

300k broadband should max out at about 25-30
150k midband about 12kb-15kb

According to NTL's website, there's only 150kbps, 600kbps, and 1Mbps...
As above, 150kbps will get a theoretical max of 18.75k/sec...
So, that's about right.

1mbit = 120kb/s
600kb = 80kb/s ( If i remember correct)
Those speeds are downloading off of microsoft which will run at your modems cap rate

Im on 600k and ive had rates of up to 75kbp/s

mine normally runs at around 40kbp/s
