Its time to get rid of the 1.0 as since ive got a few Łk in the bank , why not go for a bigger engine, How much am i looking at to get a 1.6 16V fitted in? Cant be arsed paying cossvaux etc prices, N e one had it done it theres, regardless of engine size pre hand? What prices u looking at? and what type of things need uprating ? N e help would be appreciated

There is a tutorial on this i think. You will need to get the Sport anti roll bars , bigger brakes, probably the 256x20mm Sport ones. Failing that, go for the Astra GTE front discs and calipers which are 256x24mm. Much improved braking power. You will need the engine, gearbox, loom, ECU and radiator. Also you have to remember that PAS was fitted as standard, and maybe ABS, but thats a pain in the ass.

And better suspension, the Sport's were lowered by 15mm over standard, but look at getting some nice coilovers.
