right got my amp and sub today
didnt get a wiring kit or box tho coz i maxed my credit card lol.
went to halfrods and the only wiring kit that was sutibale for a 700watt amp was 70quid fook me what a rip off that place is.
will 8awg wire be ok? or will i need 4 guage>?

well looking in the amp installation book it says at least 8 gauge and 40amp fuse, i;'ll call in the loacl ice dealers, i dont mind paying abt 50tops for it, but 70, fook that.

what amp did u get after? If it reccomends 8 guage then the chances of getting anything bigger in the terminal are quite slim

8 gauge will be fine on that. Although run some 4 gauge if you're gonna expand.
A nice Kicker 8agu kit goes for £40-50 of a decent IXOS for around £30. Believe it or not there's a nice Autoleads 8 gauge kit that goes for £30. It's in a nicely packaged carboard box.
This should not be confused with the plastic fronted £20 12 gauge piece of shit for us dealers buy in for a fiver.
