Well there is 50/50 chance of whether it had film in it.

quite a number of times i've been at the lights and nudged over the line and the camera has flashed but nothing ever happened
i suppose if it flashes and gets you well past the line, then they might do something

if it has film in you will get done m8 as plod will say amber does not mean go.chances are it wont have film in, if u dont get a letter in 2 weeks then you have got away with it.

Amber means prepare to go, if the road is clear you are within your rights to cross the line and carry on your way. If anything is said you may have a struggle but they would be being very picky if they got you for that.
Red means stop in any circumstance.
Green means go if its safe.

so why does the green man flash at the same time as the amber on a pelican crossing? because it means u cant go until the green shows.

amber means prepare to go or stop, only if it is safe to do so. and the chances are there is film in them, as the majority of violator cameras i deal with do have film. but if u dnt get word within two weeks they cant prosecute u, but if u do its 60 quid and three points.

dont worry mate, it has to have been on red for several seconds- 2 ?? before you get done, otherwise it would get to the stage where folk were hesitant on approach and slamming on the brakes when lights change !! so no, as far as I have heard it does have to be on red for a second or so and both sets off wheels have to be over the set line, but if still unsure , phone the local traffic cops, sure they will explain to you !!
