when u go out somewhere, eg shoppin or cinema, do people tend to have on their mind 'hope no1's vandalised my car or broken into it' ?
whenever i go places and i have to leave the car in a car park, i always have that at the back of my mind

I used to fear leaving my car anywhere but I'm not so bad now. Its properly insured and tracked and while I'm not being complacent or uncareful, you can't live your life wondering.

I had the feeling all the time. I go to the cinema quite often, and the carpark thats directly outside the cinema is notorious for car theifs, even my mothers shogun got broken into and the stole the HU/cds/chequebook ect. I wouldnt be able to handle that.
So far my pager has alerted me to some bastards in the Tesco car park getting too close to my car.

Yes I get that feeling quite often.
I do 9 hour shifts in Tesco at the busiest time of day on Saturday and Sunday. I hate parking my car outside work for fear a someone will do something to it.
Trolleys are the worst
So I park away over the other end of the Retial Park where it's always emptier and in full view of a CCTV camera.

Thats a MASSIVE downside of owning a modded car. They are prone to criminals and jealous idiots.

My Astra is keyed on both sides (happened to previous owner), paint work is fading a bit, and there is a dent on the hatch underneath the number plate, was thinking of getting the exterior sorted out so I could put some nice wheels and body kit etc. but I just can't be bothered now seeing as the vast majority of the population of Oxford are Metro-driving pikeys...
Rather just stick to performance as opposed to looks.
