sorry mate but id does nothing for me

word CORSA 3 time on the top and then it talks about civics, c2s and other cars on the bottom

thats like a dieting book being full of chocolate cake recipies

it needs a destinctive LOGO/FONT

look at max power, revs, redline, ministry, dj, ANY MAGAZINE, they are easy to see from just the name, look at all the cars with stickers on says "MAX POWER" in the max power font/logo

having "corsa" on a car will not tell u anything about the mag or infact that it is a mag in the first place

"performance corsa" or a like will be much better

Wills corsa dosnt show too much, words and images shouldnt be over the car. u need a moving pic, very bright, in action, not stood still in a field, readers want fast action no fear big balls driving on the edge! looks more ure apealing to "what vintage bus" style audiences

also try and match the colour to the car, max etc have many different colour logos so they do not clash with their cars on the cover

and also have a nice list of cars down the outside but u do not need as many little pics

hope that helps and i wasnt too hard

ps - fit bird but decide if your targeting a CORSA audience or a 14 year old boys like max power etc

Ps made ive been doing graphic design for many years now, so once u get the hang of it u wont stop

u also need to decide if ure going to be original and take a risk, or follow the crouds, blend in, but play it safe (design wise)

go for unusual camer angles (see ICY's web site as i think he is amazing with a camera) low down moving shots look ace, look thru any mag and see funky angled shots to make the car look different

yesh mate, got some examples of stuff i did at uni/college and also some real world stuff

i was going to do it full time at uni after i aced my A levels in it but desided upon marketing instead (the brains behind why adverts work as opposed to actually taking the fotos and making the text)

at A level i did computer science, business studies and graphic design, so the 3 all sort of came together

yes mate getting there, wheels should be facing away from camer like ICys so u can see them clearly, which is good

simple backgrounds are best in these type of fotos as the car is sort of "lost" within the leaves

ill try dig some good examples of pics out 4 u, slightly looking down from the drivers front looks good, ill find an example

simple foto, all of the car inside the shot

simple background, no clutter (id airbrush the man on the bike out tho :lol

nice angle, shows a lot of the car, colour is nice, shadow is in the righ place, and wheels are slightly turned towards camera

only thing is its the back of the car, not the front

bad pic, but good example

mine from a mag last year, nice angle, shows a lot of kit/side/front/bonnet and wheels at once - as much as poss without cluttering it
