Ive got Bit Torrent 5.8.6 and the max download rate I ever get is 5kb's. And why is that light in the corner always Yellow. I want it to go green.
Shall I get a different Virsion or Torrent?

It means u r behind a firewall or NAT. Mine does this also and i dont know how to stop it. I once did get 40k's tho.....

yer same ere, but now that yellow light has apeared its really slow,

That doesnt help me, as i connect through a router, with a firewall i cant turn off.

You need to open outgoing TCP ports 6881-6999 in your firewall to get full functionality of BT. I usally get 120kbit/sec

If you're using a router, try hard-coding port-forwarding for ports 6881-6999 through to your IP address (assuming you're not using DHCP)......when I got my router, I was getting 15-20k/sec max, which is now hitting 60k/sec with the above change.

what Internet connection have you got Dan? Ive got 128/150k(not very good and bit torrent is doing 4kb's at max.it sohuld be doing at least 15k shouldnt it? dan cam u help me on MSN or something. add me martyn_cannon@hotmail.com
