This is the F28 gearbox as found on the C20LET's as standard. They are pretty much essential when you increase the power on a LET, as the F20 will only take so much.
They are heavier than the F20 and obviously have the extra gear.
They are also for 4wd but can easily be converted.

i think the getrag box has no synchros and that the gears just jam into place. the teeth inside are stronger but there are less of them and they slot in in differemnt ways
someone will have to back me up on this cos gearbox knowledge is my weak point
