yep they are, but there is no ral competitors
you've got the mito (ducati rep thing) and the nsr, both nowhere near as good and havent got as many aftermarket bits either

Having drove a couple of different car's (FWD + RWD) I am sensible when it comes to speed, especially in bad weather conditions

surly not worth considering if the reliability is going to be an issue - more so with any aftermarket bits

from what i've heard not ne more unreliable than any other 2 stoke
early ones had problems with electrics as well before factory made them more friendly to harsh conditions

err... Colin J if your looking at 125's Aprilia is the best... compared to all the competition (Cagiva, Honda, Yamaha, Derbi etc) Aprilia will beat them all...
Your mate probably did say they were shite...
...shite compared to a GSX 750 or something!
it's like comparing a 2.0 litre corsa with a ferrari...
the 2.0 litre corsa is a good corsa, if your limited to getting a N/A corsa - but a ferrari is no contest.
if you get what I'm saying.

mine's black already - but its got scrapes down the side.
I think my dad would prefere I didn't have it black for the fact that at night it'll be impossible to see.
I quite like the blue.

Yeah, I hear what your saying but I wouldnt get a 125, My mate(actually a guy I just got talking to who manages a motorcycle workshop and has years of experience) said (I was talking to him apout the 125Aprilla's) 2 strokes are shite - get a 4 stroke, so this is why im saying this. If people told you not to get one and could back this up, then your not going to do it.
Ive got nothing against the RS 125's and im sure if I was thinking about getting a bike a few years ago then that is what I would have got, just now im >21 I can get a big bike, with a bigger, more reliable engine. Makes sense to me

2 stroke engine's are more efficent than 4 strokes - hence why a 2 stroke 125 cc is faster than a 4 stroke 125cc...
Yeh, I wasn't trying to persuade you to get a 125 - I was just pointing out for a 125 aprilia is the best...
If I were you I'd get a nice 500-600 cc bike, not too fast but plenty of poke.
