whats the thickness of standard gsi 1's?
would a gsi 1 fit straight on to a corsa 1.2?
what difference would 1 make?

if your gonna uprate the front roll bar you really need to get a rear one also
uprated front will induce understeer
uprated rear will induce oversteer
you want a healthy balance of both, although i dont know of any manufacturers that do rears for a corsa
most tend to remove the front and go for a decent coilover setup

if you can get one for the rear also, then it'll make a vast improvement

Front roll bars are 24mm on Sport 1.6's and GSis, i think they are either 12 or 20 onthe back

well considering the 1.2 8v has neither then i would defo get both.
late 1.6 sports have 24mm earlier models have anything between 18-22mm. rears area all 18mm no matter what model

Im running Coilovers with 200lb springs. Its a 1.2 16V with rollbar but not sure on the 5-door thicknesses. My car handles REALLY bad in the wet and understeer's to death but AMAZING in the dry and tends to oversteer more than understeer!! So would removing the roll-bar improve my handeling? I also get the lift-off thing in corners where the inside wheel spins really bad lol and yet its only got 1.2 power...

tomas, its your hard shocks which are fucking you, i adjust my konis to soft in the wet and med in the dry. if you have the shokcs on med-hard in the wet you may aswell not bother turning the steering wheel.

any manufacuter who makes an uprated rear anti roll bar for corsa's will be an extra bar that will bolt onto the bottom rear shock bolts and then bracket along the under sider of the rear beam. so effectiivly u have two on the rear
im assuming the std bar is part of the original beam

from my experience,if you don't want aftermarket antiroll bars, the best combination to get nice, slightly oversteer during decelerration is 22mm front and 18mm rear or any other combination that has a 1,2 ratio (eg 22/18=1,2)
otherwise you can have a look at www.whiteline.com.au.They have top performance stuff

22/18 is closer to a 1,1 ratio!!
22/11 would be 1,2
