hi, i have a pretty much standard star silver corsa B (1998). it hasnt been kitted yet but it will have a combat kit on soon. i am not sure which wolfrace wheels to get. the ones i have shortlisted are:
mantis
urban racer
ikon plus
quantum

ikon plus and quantum are my faves atm

i have a 1.2 8 valve atm but next yr i am having a 2.0 16b lobbed in.

what size dya recon i shud go for? 15/17 or possibly 16 (if they do them)
and also.....
can anyone paste these wheels onto a picture of a corsa (combat kitted or standrad) so i can c wot it luks like? (i wud but i have no pics of my car on the comp)

just as a guide what price could you get some 17's for? cos i can almost guareentee that someone on here could source whatever wheels you want for a cheap price.

i`d say 15 or 16 for handling also make sure you get as close to et49 as poss

me dad sed he can get quite a bit oif discount :s 17's for prons about 350-400 but its the tyres that i can get well cheap. toyo's probs

i paid 165 quid for a set of toyo proxes 194/45/16
to be honest i wont buy them again because the grip in the wet is diabolical. i recommend bf goodridge all the way.
350-400 is the standard price for rims mate of that quality.

get some huge stoppers and caliper and lob some matis ones on... not to good on a corsa with puny brakes tho.

why the combat kit?

why not put a nicer less common kit on?

i was gonna get the matrix's, but i was told that at 7.5 x 17 as opposed to the more usual 7 x 17, they are a lot harder to fit without serious arch work. And i agree with kenny - far too many combat kitted corsas around. I know its hard to be original now, but combat kits are probably the most common!

its sorta the combat kit if ya get me, i havnt fully decided yet. me dads m8 wants to try sum custom made stuff so i mite giv that a try. i do sorta like the combat kit + theres not many where i live. i havnt even seen one. i'll av a luk at my budget at the end of the week. wot do u all think of the quantums?

If your gonna get a combat kit then you will need 17s for them not to look small and stupid, ive seen the new ikon plus and they look like a very nice rim
