Hey all, need bit of help!
Could i lower my car without having any arch mods done, and without scraping my arches?
17" wheels with 205/40 tyres, et45.
Any ideas?

My sri is lowered 40mm with no arch/liner mods (though it is very tight) and managed to keep the mud gaurds on

u cud get the brake drums lathed a little to bring the wheels closer to the axles, safer than lathin the wheels anyhows!!
mite allow u a lil more clearance, know a few cars got this done

aint really up for spending big bucks really, or id get the arches done! But, im just after a figure of which i could lower the car on springs only and not get rubbing (if its possible)

just de bolt the rears itshud be fone to go down 40 maybe a lik more on coilovers

matey me car is on 17s and droped 40mm all u got to do is get the top bolts debolted matey thats it coz they mite hit or scrape the tyres wen going over speedbumps etc as the tyres go in the arch wen they go up so get this dun dude and ya all good
