sum1 explain me this, testd power cable with a new fuse, light lit up on tester, try amp no power light at all

fuses replaced everywher, tried my jbl amp and an splx amp in wrk no luck iv jus gon and "borrowd" a bigger wirin kit frm wrk but it played happily on the old smaller wirin kit 4 a month

checkd ground yes, tried with an without remote lead, didnt think it wud make no difference 2 the power tho

hmmmmm sayn tha mind......... i did find my remote lead severd wen i took all the wires out, wud it make tha much of a difference?

without the remote lead the amp wont turn on, i had a problem with the remote lead grounding under the plastci trim, a bolt went through it, lol. use a multimeter and work your way back to isolate the problem.

yes it will as the amp won't turn on without the headunit telling it to do so via the remote lead.

ahhh cud probably be wher im stuck then, cos i tried every possible thing yesterday n i fort fck it, strip it an start again, but i found my remote lead in 2 pieces

the amp needs 2 know when 2 turn on and off, the remote cable does this otherwise amp wud b on all the time and run ur battery down!

thats the only thing it can b if ur earth and power cables are ok!

this happened with my amp and remote lead, so i put the remote lead from the amp to one of the two power leads from the back of the head unit, so when you turn your car on, the head unit turns on with the amp. i think its just the same as the remote wire but i think mines fcuked!
