I stripped down my gearstick, to remove the leather gaiter, alloy surround and gear knob some 5 months ago, as my car has been off the road.
Thing is i'm now putting it back together, i have the gaiter and gear knob, however i'm not sure if i'm missing the lift up reverse platicy bit, or where it fits to... anyone got any ideas??

Obviously you need ya lift up shaft, then the gear knob goes ontop of that??
If you havnt got the lift up bit then get to a scrappy coz obviously you need it to get into reverse!!!

I can't picture it in my head tbh, but from what i remeber you put the spring on then the lift up shaft onto the spring so it pushes up n down, then put ya gear knob on!
