Im in my last year of A levels, and can't bothered with uni, so im gonna look for a jobs.... im really into modded cars and i was wounderin what jobs are out there which hav good pay.

is any1 on corsasport hav jobs involving modifyin

go work for RTEC, Xtreme, Ripspeed , get the foot in the door and learn , they pay about 15k a year

I agree with scott, go to your local car shop. Get your foot in the door.

You just gotta read as much as you can to learn. Its all about experience.

You gotta know the basics of cars because at the end of the day people come to you for advice and expect you to know about products for every car listed.

That includes ppl that come in with protons and kia's and ask for bodykit.

I have a wee 15 yr old guy that works for me on weekends for nothing cos he's sooo keen on learning.

You've got to ask yourself whether you can see yourself in car modifying long term. Sure, it may seem like a top idea now but will you still be keen 10 years down the line. When I was a kid I wanted to work in a toy shop but I certainly wouldn't like to now! Make sure its not just a phase.

If your into cars now theyn you alwyas will be IMO!

Just do the modding scene till you get bored of it all then go for the power and tuning scene.If you get me

my dads into modifying and hes 44 he used to have an old capri that he used to unleash his box of tricks on as a lad
