yep chewbeccaman is right, some of the 4x4 cavs had a 2ltr 8v engine but it wasnt classed as a gsi, they are very rare though.

they did not make 4x4 v6 cavs must be a 2.0 8v

ok they made quite a few 4x4 2ltr 16v cav gsi's
we all know all the 2ltr 16v cav/cali turbos were 4x4
Very Few 4x4 2ltr 8v 4x4 cavs(classed as something else)

trust me i'd be suprised if it wasnt a 2ltr 16v 4x4 one as the 8v ones as well hard to come by. just go and have a look, if it has a gsi kit then its a 2ltr 16v. as the 8v ones looked liked a normal standard cav.
