Maybe in YOUR opinion stephen, but not in many others.
Let me see, what would i rather spend my money on? Clothes, beer, junk, or my car, something i can show what i've spent my money on? Something i can/or anyone else (regarding their own cars) can be proud of?
And if it pleases Donna, what business is it of yours anyway? It not your money or your car 
You concern yourself too much with other peoples things. Not got enough in you own life to keep you occupied?

£6k, OTT in my opinion, just because it was Carisma, there are many good places out there that will do a job to standards near to Carisma an will charge you nowhere near as much. Stupid to go for something just because of the name unless you have the money to do so. I would never throw £6k at the interior of my car, would do all the audio work myself and then take the car somewhere that aint gonna cost me a bomb so they can retrim and do the boot build.

You want the best, you pay the most, same as anything.
You want your car to handle that bit better, buy £70 springs, you want your car to handle superb, spend £1k on coilovers, strut braces etc.
You get what you pay for.
