Dan ur a fuckin proper spanner aint ye

The lead that goes up to ur room needs to be connected to the RF OUT 2 on your digibox, will have a mA rating too.

Then in your bedroom you plug the wire from downstairs into the TV link, then plug the other end of the TV link into your room.

Then go downstairs and press services, press 4 for system settings, then press 0 then 1 then select.

Go to RF outputs and press select, and change power supply output to on. Save settings and voila.

Bein serious now mate ive been to so many places of my family that are having the same problem as you and its usually because the cable isnt decent 75ohm coaxial cable and isnt terminated properly both ends. It will carry the picture but not the 9v power

CT100 is what I would use. Cheap enough. Same cable as what is used to connect the dish to the digibox.

Yeah mate. How long u gonna need roughly? Standard length is around 20m, for any jobs that i do i get two sets of these:

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=1001&productId=60321

..and it does the job perfect. Make sure you get these kits cos ur gonna need these back to back adaptors.

Only another 8 quid
