The ones from the actual Vauxhall dealers..

Do they do anything to the ECU to restrict the performace / increase fuel economy, prolong engine life ???!?!

I've got a '53 1.2 SXi red corsa as courtesy car, and I'm not just being gay, but it felt so slow. Felt no where near as quick as my DTi.

I am not saying the 1.2 IS slow, because I know that tbh there is not really that much difference in performance between the 1.2 and the DTi .

So it must just be that one , it's only got 2000 miles on the clock.

I thought it they had stuck a 1l 12v in it. Then I checked, and the 1.2 was definitely still in there.

The only courtesy car that I've had from them that has actually felt like it 'should' was a 1.6 Astra, - but that was the workshop manager's company car.

totally different driving experince though as well

all the diesel torque is low down, petrol sxi is higher up, hence it wont seem as quick on the uptake

You'd have to rev the tits out of a 1.2 for it to keep up with the DTi below 60mph.
