We used to have a an Sri V6.

All the V6's except Gsi and supertouring were 170 Bhp.
The Gsi's and supertouring were both 192 bhp.

The MSD version was called the supertouring 200, and suprisingly had 200Bhp. But these were rare and ones in Red or black are like rocking horse poo.
Cost more as well as they were a limited edition.

They also did a later 2.6 V6, in which the Gsi had only 179 Bhp but a lot more torque. It was very similar on paper to 2.5.

They are nice tho, and can be had really cheap. We P/X our Sri last year. R- Reg 40,000 miles for under 3k!!!

that's strange mine had loads of room in the back and had electric windows and sunroof as for road noise thats's only because they come with 17" alooys as standard fitted with big chunky tyres.i would agree with gearbox though they go forever in each gear but mine was ok at 30.lot's of fun with traction control turned off

You want to get an ST200/3000 if you want a veccy. Massive brakes, bilstein suspension as standard, and bloody gorgeous in silver or black.

I used to get less than that during the winter, probably between 18-23 and that was taking it steady. Highest i ever saw on a run was about 33-36mpg.

Make no mistake they are not cheap cars to run. My mechanic as had no end of V6 vectras sitting in his garage for weeks on end with the head off due to engine problems. Think you need to strip some of the inlet manifold to change the spark plugs as well?
