i av a 1.2 8v and my mate has the 16v, it only just pulls away on straights an i beat him on bends cos his is standard wheels/susp. def not worth it mate

Dont you mean uprated cams. Anyhow, to get 136bhp, its gotta have a new inlet manifold. Which one is it?

got a feeling it might be M4tt_C old engine that he had before the conversion to the 2.0. he is thinking of selling it now

Yes but the 1.2 8v isn't liking anything above 80Mhp. where the 16v has quite a bit more to go

U might as well drop a 1.4 16v in mate - the 1.2 8v -> 16v transplant wud be a waste of time + effort.

the 1.4 16v is only like insurance group 5. Oh - and tell em the engine is coming out of a 1.4 16v CDX rather than the sport. CIS quote me 150quid less for this fact, dispite engines being identical.
