I was nosing around the Red Letter days in House of Fraser, and i came across the Ferrari driving experience, basically an hour on a track in a Ferrari, i thought id never pay 250 just to spend an hour in a ferrari they arnt "all that".

Then i came across the Mini Cooper experience, 2 hours on a track in a mini cooper, i thought WTF, it was 200 pounds, who would pay 200 quid to drive a fucking new mini round a track!!! i get more of an experience everyday in mine for nothing!!

wtf- I have had three 1 hour test drives for free before i ordered mine lol!!

I did a rally drive day in mk2 and 3 golf gtis and that was only £128

With the boxed off the shelf red letter days you're paying extra for all the admin and marketing people that have got the product into stores.

Better to look at the days for ideas, then go direct to the companies involved - cut out the middle men, save yourself a packet and make it more of an enjoyable day.

If it's a present for your other half, use the money you've saved to take them out for the night!

u pay for the petrol, the car and the insurance though
