Just another quick question really regarding upgrading my stereo. At the mo it's factory fitted but i'd like to wack a cd/mp3 affair in there....BUT....
My mate who also has a corsa says that when you fit a cd player you loose your digi clock. Is he telling the truth or is his car just el-broko!
Sorry I nicked the pic. But the digi display im talking about is under the scoop.

If the corsa b the same as my corsa c, you loose the radio display on the MFD, but you keep time/temp/date features.

Yes that's right. Well it will go blank. But there's a wire you can cut to make it permanently display the date. However, there may be head units which will link up to it.

The clock and temp display will still work and the date will be shown instead of the radio frequency, That's what mine did anyway.

u can get an adapter for kenwood head units to show the CD/Radio info in the mfd if u really want to keep it.

yeah basically on mine when u have the radio on the time and temp are displayed but middle stays blank. when u play cd the date appears in the middle
