sum1 has just made a comment on the radio that am listening to and
which one is rite

asda or asda's
eg:
i went to asda
i bought asda's bread

but it is stil asda so why put the "s"

why not say i bought asda bread

same applies for tesco

i always say tescos because it is all due to the english language and dialect.

you say asda's to describe where u got it from and who owned it before you e.g. theres bob's car. not theres bob car

"Asda's bread" is correct as it is produced by Asda therefore it is their home brand, where as "Asda Bread" would mean any bread from asda ie any brand.

either way the person is a pikey for buying home brand bread and not purchasing the expensive stuff.
