got up at 3am yesterday mornin by the time i got ready and picked someone else up the three of us left for Gatwick at 4am in the 15 seater transit we hired... me driving

200 miles and 3 hours later we arrive

plane delayed 1 hour 40 min then took them 1 and half hours to get out of customs so finally left at 11am...........

got back to my house at 6pm

i never want to see a deisel transit with a top speed of 70 if ure lucky again

oh but i did see brody from off here as he works in the airport

saw a burnt out carlsberg lorry was about the highlight of the journey

one of those like massive 18 wheelers and all the sides had melted so u could see the hundreds of charred beer kegs just sat there

it was a very good friend of the family and i was pickin his family up who were visiting for xmas

Oh fair enough, would ahve been nice if they had said thanks for that heres a little bonus. even if you didnt take it. but sum people just dont think do they.

I bet they ask for a lift back.

its more the fact i lost a whole day and day before xmas eve is not a good one to lose, got to run about like a blue arse fly now...... also my mum spent the whole day here so she lost out too

was meant to be home for dinner time

did you get stuck on the m1 around luton? 3 junctions were shut apparently from 11am for ages !!!

yeh as we came round the m25 to join the m1 it was stood stil from all directions and the sign said closed from junction 9 to 10 and i though jesus if they are queuin back to junction 6 which is where m1/m25 join then its gonna be bad

so carried on round m25 and picked up the a1

dunno if u have done that road but its freakin awful and traffic was bad on there too
