i was driving earlier and all of a suden all electrics died and came back on really quickly, this then happened again and again, when the road was bumpy. Then the engine warning light came on and turned everything off and stoped the car. I left it off for 5 mins and started again and was fine till i hit bumpy roads, then would keep dieing and comeing back on as if the electrics was shorting. if anyone knows what this could be pls help as i feel the car is unsafe to drive. ( also i have just replaced my battery to a heavy duty calcium battery) if that helps.

its the ignition switch, i know of several people this has happened too, just need to change it for a new one.

arr thats what the clicking sound must be, how much they cost and where do i fit it to,

found the problem it was a loose cable from the altinator to battery. Sorted now!
