1. Toyota Yaris - 90.5 - 2
2. Skoda Fabia - 88.1 - 11
Second-placed supermini after the Yaris, its only fault is a lack of driving amusement. Top-notch otherwise
3. MCC Smart - 86.9 - 19
4. Mini One / Cooper - 84.7 - 34
5. Nissan Micra - 83.3 - 46
6. Seat Arosa - 80.9 - 63
7. Vauxhall Corsa (new) - 80.5 - 65
8. Daewoo Matiz - 80.3 - 67
9. Ford Ka - 79.3 - 81
It's slow and squashed inside, yet Ka drivers still go all giggly at the prospect of taking to the road in one
10. Ford Fiesta (older - pre-Apr '02) - 78.2 - 92
11. Volkswagen Lupo - 77.7 - 94
12. Vauxhall Corsa (older - pre-Oct '00) - 77.3 - 95
13. Volkswagen Polo (older - pre-Jan '02) - 77.3 - 96
14. Rover 25 - 76.6 - 101
15. Rover MG ZR - 76.6 - 103
16. Fiat Seicento - 76.0 - 109
17. Renault Clio - 75.8 - 111
18. Peugeot 206 - 74.3 - 121
19. Peugeot 106 - 73.8 - 124
Appalling ratings in most areas. At least the ancient 106 uses only a little more fuel than if it were solar powered
20. Citroen Saxo - 73.2 - 128
21. Fiat Punto (new - intro'd Oct '99) - 72.5 - 132
so the 106`s aint that good then
