I have been blessed with the best engine of them all, a 1.2 8v (jokes) although i have put an exhaust on induction kit on it, and obviously there are no tuning opportunities so...

are there are places where u an buy shiny bits to at least make it look nice, like the battery covers and caps or anything else?

If YES, any good places?

ya can get fancy battery terminals from maplin

only a few quid each aswell

surely they will have a maplin close to u
dont think they advertise these on the site

my mate makes alloy parts for cars, ie header tanks, battery covers etc!

Just get some wire wool, a dremel, some metal polish and set to work on your engine, will try to find pics of mine when i did this...
