soon as i switch engine on the fan is kicking in n stays on constant whilst im driving?? car is 1.6 16v x reg sport only done 20 k?? just wondering can any one advise me on what it might be maybe its a common prob with these cars

probs just the thermostat, not a big job or expensive job to sort

If it comes on straight away wont be thermostat
More likely to be the fan switch shorted out, if so cheap and easy.
Try disconnecting the switch if it stops then replace the switch.
