i want my 1.2 8v -> 1.4 16v (corsa B)

is it a straight swop.

i no some ppl will say y not 1.6, i cant afford the insurance.

ok jsut been reading tho, it seems that the mouts on a 8v are diff too a 16v is this right?

y not 1.6?



only jokin - the mounts are different on the x14xe mate, will need to mod the existing mounts to suit. Apart from that, pretty much plain sailing as long as u got the engine, box, loom + ecu, and the all important key for the ignition (as they had immobilisers built into some of em)

yes 1.4 8v will go straight in.....i believe they use same fuel pump!

Yeah - woteva u do, u really wanna get a set of 256mm ATE calipers, pads + discs on there....as the 1.2 set up is pants.

As for shocks and springs, u'll be ok dropped <40mm on springs, even with a 1.4 in there

im doing this swap soon so i know your need the drivers side mount of the 1.4 version,

your also need the 1.4 loom/ecu

also need a fule pump of a 1.4/1.6 and a header tank with the two outlets apose to the one
