i would not get a V5 clio for 21k....
It would 20x more stupid to go out and buy a GTiR for 9k and bam it up!
a GTiR - at least start with a car that looks better than grandads turd.... fuckin cornflake box!
yuk.....
If was sensible.... and had 21k to spunk on a car..... id buy an old car.... something that i wouldnt loose money no.
Any new car these days is going to loose so much money!

I don't think it'd take much of a hit over the first year in terms of depreciation. The MK1 V6 held its value very well and still does.
Plus, 21k is 6k less than list

Yes, they are supposed to be amazing to drive. An entirely different proposition to the 172 which is essentially just a pocket rocket. Hardly comparable to a rear engined V6.

I was never a fan of the Cliosport V6 until I saw a 53-plate example the other week.
The car does have a great deal of presence which I've not seen on hardly any other cars, but as a package it's probably a bit too flawed for £21-25k
If I could afford to lose out on depreciation, then I would get a Clio V6 but for the same price I could have the top spec RX8...
