bought a sony H.U off a friend inc disc changer, the remote control works bang on. But that joystick thing don't, any ideas. Tell a lie, it works but the buttons dont't do what they are supposed to- eg; press the source button and the att comes on; chose a disc and the radio searches. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND

I have the CDX CA900 with the joystick thig and mine works fine, the buttons do what there meant to do... think yours is most probably faulty tbh mate.

I gotta XR M500R and mine does exactly what its meant to, cant think whats wrong with yours, did it work in your mates car?
