Coz i'm thinking
in using 8x17 wheels
on my corsa turbo
with 235/40 or 225/35 rubber.

What do you think would be the best offset there?

et35 but an 8" wide wheel will be a nightmare to fit without scrubbing if you are lowered unless you have done something major with your arches...

thought 7,5 inch wide was ET 35.

Dont know about the 8 wide.

I think you can also fit 225 or 235 on a 7,5 wide.

I had 16" on 7,5 wide.
My only problem is that my rear axle isnt 100% in the middle.

Had minor problems rear with scrubbing on 1 side.
In front no problems (lowered -4)

How do you guys get away without rubbing, what work have you had done?
I have 7.5 x 16 ET45 with 195/35/16 rubber and even with rear arch work it still rubs when there are people in the back.

I think ET35 is the best on 7,5 wide.

The reason is that Mine was lowered 40 mm and it is a stiff spring

I think 8 wide is 2 wide.

As far as I know is 7,5 the widest possible with a bit of lowering.

The germans are putting 8 wide on it, but there springs are so stiff that they arent moving on bumps.
