nope, looks v. clean from what i can see. Only mods are pipercross and exhaust.

In that case feel free to nail it!! If you had rebuilt the engine then you would be advised to run it in for 1000miles.

best to get prob sorted first before you give it some mate,glad you got it back though and your happy how much diffarence is there to the 1.4????

BIG difference to 1.4, so much low end torque!!! And not really given it any yet, cos of the probs, but i did open it up a little, and yes, it did put a big grin on my face! Getting pics later tonight, so will put some up. Might be going Southend tonight too.

temp guage sender would cause the gauge to not read. about 12£ for a new one, or try the connection first. bit of emery paper and wd40 on the terminal.
dunno about the poor running. could be the collant temp sensor right next to the temp gauge sensor in the thermostat housing.
