i've got one years no claims at the moment, but wondering if i did pass plus now would it further decrease my premium? or dont it make any diff now i've got a years no claims. cheers.

you can only do pass plus within 1 year of passing your test, and the discount is only applicable on your first years premium, after that it doesn't count!

yea, apprently some people have had savings of 50 odd percent, which isnt too bad im thinking about doing it, but rather spend the cash on doing up the car

As far as i know, if u do ur pass plus...then it will decrease ur premium quite abit

Brought my insurance down quite a bit, well worth doing but it is expensive.

spot on.

plus if your NCD was earned on a learner license it will typically be more than a pass plus discount anyway so supercedes it (they don't take both).

the typical pass-plus discount is equivalent to 20% NCD for under-21's, 30% for 21-25.

i got quoted £2000 insurance, did me pass plus and brong it down to £1400

Did my pass plus and it knocked 51% of my insurance. Only cost fifty quid, save me over a grand

Trucido, i know of people who have had 50% taken off insurance cause of the pass plus, depends what company your with really!!

Trucido all true thanx, i'm with a company called first gear and my car is a 1.4 16v sport. Cost me 1200 to insure it fully comp.
