Ive just passed my test an bought a 2 yr old corsa c comfort(1.0) im gonna change the mirrows,colour code the bumbers an replace mirrors etc as this keeps the insurance to a minimum. how much extra would i expect to pay 4 my insurance if i put a set of 17's on it.

yer depends who ur wiv. Norwich union wanted £110 to put some 15's on my car. No way am i paying that.

norwich union charged me £30 more to add 17"rims full kit lowered suspension and exhaust

wtf. i rang up month ago, they wanted £110 for alloys, £100 for lowering. Could it be to do with age, i'm only 18. How old are you?

liverpool vic added nothing for full kit, rims, suspention, brakes, zoorst, buckets

cis never charged me extra either.

yeah will be i'm 30 and the missus is 23 insurance was £318 fully comp with the mods

stick them on anyway, 5 min job to put the old ones back on in the event that u need to claim.

liverpool victoria all the way, htey dont care bout any modifications u do at all as long as its not engine modifications, but they dont care bout silly lil fings like induction kit.

thats what i had to do when i wrote my car off. there i was in the rain changing wheels, neighbours would had been thinking WTF!
