I used something called Pop Up Stopper at one point but it kept closing my main I.E window every time i opened it so that wasn't much use and i've tried Web Wipe which isn't very good either for the fact that it doesn't stop them.

Can anyone offer suggetions for an alternative??

yea go to www.download.com and search for 'adaware' its good but once you install it you cant use kazza

Get a decent browser... like Firebird.. it has a built in pop up killer.
