hello,
i have recently aquired some blue leds for my dash, mfd heater controls etc.
firstly how many lights are needed for a 1.6 sport dash? i bought 4 but think only 3 are needed? they are labelled A,B,C for the lights, the other lights in the dash for the warning lights etc. are all numbered 1-15 etc, what is number 14 for?
ok now my main problem - im having trouble getting the leds to work, the centre one in the dash is fine but the one above the temp guage wont work!?
i have tried the led in the mfd and it works fine, I have also tried a normal dash bulb in the temp guage place and that works fine? why wont my led light up in there?
hopefully someone else has encountered this problem!
just spent about an hour taking dash out and putting back in hundreds of times, getting annoying now! lol

You have three in the dials and two in the mfd. If one isn't working in the dials, but works in the mfd, then obviously the led isn't at fault.
Did you read the instructions, leds are polarity sensitive, if it doesn't work, take it out and turn it 180 degrees (half a turn) then put it back in.

BTW, the bulb for number 14 is your low fuel warning. The little fuel pump symbol lights up when fuel is low. You can put leds in there too if you want.

these arnt the leds from you dude,
got no instructions, dont need them anyway,
tried the led all possible ways, its most bizarre!!!

probably arrive tomorrow then, postmen can be pretty sleepy round here! lol
BTW just sorted the problem some fiddeling with the back of the dash and the led holders contacts sorted out the problem,
pretty weird really
lookin forward to having my blue interior light and heater controls now
