I have 35mm springs on my car and i also noticed that the two big center coils are compressed even when the car is empty, but i think that it's normal.

those are the softer coils that keep the spring 'trapped' at full extension.

Yes completely normal guys, only downer is they rot pretty quickly as the paint flakes off where the coils touch.

you meen 60/30mm apex springs not 60mm all round, i have them.
used to use pi60mm springs on the back but it was way to low so stuck the apex ones back on, i dont class the apex as 60mm atall.

Yep, you will find that passengers in the back complain a lot more about a harsh ride than passengers in the front, the springs are smaller and have much less travel, which is a good thing because down 60mm if you had too much travel you would be saying goodbye to your tyres, and arch.
Be happy that it just looks low. I have a civic now, cant get a kit for it to drop it lower than 40mm unless I get coilovers, its hard to cope with high suspension when your used to 60mm drop.

Yeah you want to make sure you take the original GM bumpstops and fit them to your new rear dampers. What dampers are you using? The SPAX ones allready have the bumpstops fixed into them so no need to worry...
