The valve is basically an air leak in your brake servo pipe.
It's supposed to agitate air and increase performance, reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.

it fits on the brake servo pipe and uses the air from that and 'agitates' it to mix with the fuel in the inlet manifold.
i have had one for 6 months i must say i get about 30-50 more miles on a full tank and the throttle response is better.
the trade off is the noise it makes, some people say it adds character but i think its annoying!
my mate owns a garage we checked before and after emissions (i was bored one afternoon) and they were (c02) about 5% so no biggy

hmm i must get 1 then are theyclassed as an engine mod and must be declared? does it require and drilling or is it plug and play, u get what i mean

Have to make your own mind up on whether they're worth it.
There's plenty of people that say they work and there's more than enough people that say it's a gimmick.
I've got one myself, but it's sat in my desk drawer for over 3 years

to fit it you have to cut the servo pipe after the non- return valve then join the t- piece somehow, i used some fuel line and jub-clips.
i have found that it only saves fuel if your not heavy on the right foot.
i declaired mine to insurance didnt change my premium.
if you work out how much fuel it'll save you it would be good value imo.
