does anybody know how much it would cost to sort the arches out to get a set of 19's in a corsa B or is it impossible to do so?

ask bradfincham he had 19's on his, they were also the reason his car was written off as they put so much stress on the suspention components that his wishbone snaped whilist driving.

I have them on mine, i have done loads of work tho, dropped -50mm at the min but not finished working to test if it catches as yet. Got the prowler wide arch kit and cut the front wings fully off which is inside of the kit so they shouldnt catch, as for the backs i have split the skins cut as far as i can folded the inner skin up and welded the outer skin over that, looks like there will be enough clearance

More to the point, so far, 2 of the few corsas that are going about with 18" or bigger wheels have snapped driveshafts, broken gearboxes, snapped wishbones and have all got fucked.

But of course, if it makes your car look good (till it breaks and you crash it) then

I wouldn't put anything over 17" on a corsa.

I'd have to agree Daimo, no bigger than 17's IMO. Bigger wheels look good on the right kitted cars but not really practical for everyday use. I should imagine 18's+ have the same sort of stress on components as the corsa b.
